Norsk Tactical's Hostile Environment Close Protection Operative (HECPO) course is a 4 day intensive and comprehensive training program designed for individuals who are tasked with providing personal security in high-risk or potentially hostile environments. 

This course is led by seasoned professionals with extensive backgrounds in military, law enforcement, and private security sectors. They bring real-world experience and expertise to the training, ensuring participants are equipped with practical skills and knowledge.

The HECPO course covers a wide range of topics, including:

1. Risk Assessment and Management: Participants learn how to identify potential threats and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

2. Close Protection Techniques: The course covers advanced close protection techniques, including protective surveillance, convoy security, and emergency extraction procedures.

3. Conflict Management: Participants are trained in de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies to handle volatile situations effectively.

4. First Aid and Trauma Care: The course includes comprehensive first aid training, focusing on trauma care in hostile environments.

5. Defensive and Evasive Driving: Participants are taught advanced driving techniques to navigate safely through high-risk areas and situations.

6. Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance: The course covers techniques for detecting and countering surveillance activities.

7. Firearms Training: The course includes safe weapon handling and marksmanship training, with a focus on the use of firearms in a close protection context.
