Fibua & Dibua

FIBUA (Fighting in Built-Up Areas) and DIBUA (Defence in Built-Up Areas) Courses with Norsk Tactical are specialised training programs designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required to operate effectively in urban environments. 

FIBUA Course:

The FIBUA course focuses on offensive operations in urban settings. Participants are trained in a variety of tactics and techniques, including room clearing, building entry, close-quarters combat, and urban patrolling. The course also covers the use of various types of equipment and weapons that are commonly used in urban warfare. 

Key topics include urban navigation, tactical movement, use of cover, breaching techniques, and coordination with supporting elements. The training is highly practical, with participants engaging in realistic, scenario-based exercises in a simulated urban environment.

DIBUA Course:

The DIBUA course, on the other hand, focuses on defensive operations in urban environments. Participants learn how to establish and maintain defensive positions within buildings, how to set up and operate checkpoints, and how to conduct patrols within an urban setting. 

Key topics include fortification of buildings, defensive planning, use of observation posts, and coordination with supporting elements. Like the FIBUA course, the DIBUA training is highly practical and scenario-based, providing participants with hands-on experience in a simulated urban environment.
